Running your Business

By at 20 August, 2010, 12:21 am

Many affiliate marketers are younger and really have no clue how to run a proper business. They get huge wires from a network, they shove some back into campaigns and then spend the rest and wait for the next wire. That is all good if you are single and still living at your parent’s house with no bills, but not if you are on your own and if you want to run a legit business. My next series is going to focus on how to run a successful business, from setting up a corporation to how to budget to how to properly analyze your campaigns. This will not be official legal advice, just my experience from running my own business and also others’ businesses from my years in the car business. Here is a quick breakdown of what will be covered so that you can know what to expect.

1. Setting up a corporation
2. Proper use of a corporation
3. Outsourcing and the paperwork
4. Budgeting and planning
5. What to do with profits
6. Affiliate Marketing math

The topics are subject to change and I know I will add more, but that is just a small preview. I guarantee them all to be full of info that you will want to read and I know I will give you a good, in-depth view on each of the subjects and also shed new light on things you may not have heard of before. Like I said, this is all from my personal business and also my years running businesses in the car business.
