I am starting to write a series about running your business, and "affiliate math" is one of the topics. ROI of course will be covered as a main topic in this. Quickly though, you need to add all your expenses, including hosting, domain, design, outsourcing and your own time that you put into the project in addition to your marketing cost. As you do more volume, your costs relatively go down of course, or what I call, reverse diminishing value, since you actually make more the longer you use the same campaign obviously since it is a fixed cost and all. Hopefully my accounting and economic talk didn't get you off course there. To outsource writing and coding and other misc stuff, I have used Freelancer.com with no problems. As far as link building, I am a bit more cautious with that and only use trusted people on Wickedfire.com for that. Basically, if a service provider has a good reputation there, you know they are good because that is the toughest crowd in the industry. Funny you ask about the ROI.
