The Bitdefender SafePay feature provides another layer of protection for you when you are trying to make purchases online. It will also help you when you are divulging any financial information to a site. Even though all sites that accept payments are secured, you still need to protect yourself with another level of protection. You never know what viruses are on your system, and when you enter in your financial info on a hacked computer, you may be giving your info to hackers right at that moment.

Another feature they have is protection for your Wi-fi. While it is not directly related to this feature, the protection creates a double firewall for the Wi-fi, so that people can not gain access to your computer that was as well to steal your financial info.

Runs on AutoPilot

One thing I have always hated about using other anti- virus software to protect my computer was seeing something pop up in the corner of my screen while I was working. Half the time, it was nothing to even worry about, but it was distracting enough to take me away from my work for a bit. When time is of the essence, you need to keep your thoughts on track at all times.

It will also help you locate it and, if it was stolen and there is no chance of recovery, you can even wipe clean the entire computer clean so your sensitive information is safe. How awesome is that? That is huge for people like me who store their lives on their computers, and all someone would need to do is steal my computer to do irreparable harm to my credit and life.

Social Network Protection

This is one area that all free security programs will overlook, and no other company I have found protects in this area the way Bitdefender does. Social Network Protection filters all links that you find on sites like Twitter and Facebook to protect you from malicious apps and such, while also monitoring your privacy settings as well. Privacy is such a huge concern to many people, but they do not know how to properly set up their social accounts to be protected properly. With Total Security, you are covered 100 percent!

Parental Controls

My oldest son is just starting to use the Internet, and while he basically just plays games for now, I still use Bitdefender to make sure he doesn’t end up on a site that is unsafe or inappropriate for him. And this software will continue to protect him for years to come from harmful sites, and it is set up that I can even monitor his online activity if desired. That means I can see what he is posting to Facebook, even if my Facebook account does not have access to it.

Just the Best Option

I haven’t said it enough, but seriously, Bitdefender is the best security software that I have found to protect my business. When I was starting out, I did use free anti-virus software and while I got good protection from most viruses, my computer still experienced problems at times. I have had sites hacked and even once had problems with my bank account. If you have ever had your bank info stolen, you know what a headache it is to change everything to a new account. I had to set up new direct deposit agreements with my networks, and when you are working with 5 to 10 on a steady basis, it was a huge pain.
